āCommunication is key.ā
Thatās what graphic designer and promotional coordinator Denise Salvano said is the most important thing sheās learned in the nearly 36 years sheās worked at Stonhard.
āWith nearly a century in business Stonhard [which has been in Maple Shade since 1962], is the unprecedented leader in manufacturing and installing high performance epoxy and urethane floor, wall, and lining systems,ā Salvano said. āStonhard’s seamless, long-wearing and easy-to-clean systems are engineered to perform in both industrial and commercial environments without sacrificing design innovative vision.
āWe work with you directly,ā she added. āAvailable for both new construction and retrofit/rehab projects.ā
Stonhard makes floors that protect work environments from chemical attack, impact, abrasion, thermal cycling, along with daily wear and tear.
Salvano said she would recommend Maple Shade to someone looking to open a business there.
āIt has a great backbone, long history, community support,ā she said.
Salvano said she is a member of the Maple Shade Business Association ārepresenting and supporting our community.ā
Having grown up and graduated from Pennsauken, she has lived in Maple Shade for 33 years.
āSpending quality time with my family and friendsā is what Salvano says she does in her spare time.

Amped to Dance
Biography
Owner and creative director at Amped to Dance Dana Marie Randolph said the most important thing sheās learned when it comes to business is persistence.
āNever give up,ā she said. āEven when enrollment is low and quotas are missed as long as I keep believing and working towards the vision everything will work out.
āI can’t give up because there is no plan B,ā Randolph added. āI must continue to put everything I have in making the dream I have a reality.ā
Amped to Dance opened in Maple Shade in July of this year.
āI’ve been professionally training in various styles of dance since the age four,ā Randolph said. āAfter years of teaching at community centers in Philadelphia my passion for music, movement, and teaching collided together as the vision of helping people express themselves through dance came to life.ā
So, what’s unique about her business?
āAmped to Dance is the dance studio where passion meets movement,ā Randolph said. āWe pride ourselves on fostering self-confidence and creativity through dance in each and every person we encounter.
āAmped to Dance is more than a business, even more than a dance school,ā she added. āWe are a place that encourages self-expression, healing, and love through creative arts.ā
Randolph said she would recommend Maple Shade to someone looking to open a business here ābecause the town is very welcoming.ā Also, she said It was a fairly simple process to get started.
She said it has been pleasant being a member of the Maple Shade Business Association.
āI am a member of MSBA because I’d like to learn and grow as a business owner in this town,ā Randolph said. āI want to ensure the success of my business and what better way to be a part of a community of like-minded people.
āThere are also so many qualities that I possess that may meet the needs of my fellow business owners,ā she added.
Randolph grew up in Philadelphia and graduated from Temple University with a BA in communications and Lincoln University with a MEd degree.
She said she and her family have lived in Maple Shade since May 2019.
In her spare time, Randolph enjoys spending quality, “silly” time with her family, exploring new restaurants, reading, and writing.

MB Solutions
Biography
The future of Credit Card Processing
“Customer service is key.”
That’s what Mike Bimmer says is the most important thing he’s learned when it comes to business.
Bimmer owns MB Solutions, a full-service merchant services company that has been in the Shade for eight years.
He is a partner in Voxedge, a VoIP phone company and is the purchasing agent for Mohawk Computers, a managed IT company.
Bimmer said he started MB Solutions as a “spin off” from his banking days and takes pride in providing excellent customer service to the merchants he serves.
He was in the banking industry for 20 years, starting as a branch manager and working his way up to senior lender for a small bank. Bimmer also owned a barcoding company for more than 10 years with his son-in-law and sold it to a company in Atlanta.
He said one reason he would recommend Maple Shade to anyone looking to start a business here is that the town government is business friendly. Bimmer has served on the Maple Shade Zoning Board for more than 25 years.
He joined the Burlington County Regional Chamber of Commerce in 2013.
Bimmer served in new business development and then as an ambassador for the past year. He is proud to say he built MB Solutions through networking at the chamber and the Maple Shade Business Association.
Bimmer serves on the board of directors of the MSBA and currently is the treasurer. He said he joined the association for its networking potential.
Getting business owners to see the value of joining is the greatest challenge the MSBA faces, Bimmer said.
A graduate of Holy Cross, he grew up in Maple Shade and has lived here for more than 60 years.
Bimmer coached and was treasurer of the Maple Shade Babe Ruth league for many years and currently coaches the JV CYO basketball team at Our Lady of Perpetual Help school.
He said he likes to golf in his spare time.
